BSA Troop 83 Lionville, PA is collecting all American flags that are worn, torn or faded!

As a Result of Boy Scout Ryan Francis' Eagle Project "Flag Retirement" Troop 83 has begun an annual collection of American flags.

NEWS: Ceremony and Project Success!

• VFW Post 845 in Downingtown, PA - June 11,2005, The final stage of Ryan Francis' Eagle project was completed.  Himself, along with his team of fellow scouts and the VFW, collected 1170 American flags and retired them!  A Special thanks goes out to all those who helped and participated in the project.  It wouldn't have been possible with out all you're help!
• Plans to continue the project on an annual basis are still unknown at this time.  We are currently looking for a scout interested in working with Ryan Francis on continuing the project.  For more information and dates please send and e-mail to us.
